Samir Nasri: 'We have quality to reach quarter-finals'

Samir Nasri is confident that Manchester City can produce a shock and recover from the 2-0 loss to Barcelona to reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Samir Nasri has insisted that Manchester City have the quality to overturn the two-goal deficit in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Barcelona.

Manuel Pellegrini's side face a tough challenge to reach the quarter-finals after losing 2-0 to the Catalan club at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.

However, Nasri believes that City can take confidence from their victory over Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the group stage of the competition.

"We will have to gamble, but why not? We went to Munich and beat them, so we can do the same," the France international told journalists.

"It does not change anything in our belief and our quality. We believe in ourselves.

"Everything is possible. We can do it. When you play like this, you have to believe. We have the quality."

The second leg takes place at Camp Nou on March 12.
