Report: Pedro Morales to join Vancouver Whitecaps

Malaga have reportedly sanctioned the sale of Chilean midfielder Pedro Morales to MLS outfit Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 28-year-old signed a new two-year deal with the Spanish outfit last season, but he has been used sparingly by boss Bernd Schuster this season.

According to AS, Malaga's sporting director Mario Husillos will travel to Canada this afternoon with a view to completing the deal before the end of the week.

Morales has scored once in 15 games this season.
