Report: Malaga rejected Ignacio Camacho interest

A report claims that Napoli and Porto both failed in moves for Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho this summer.

Malaga reportedly turned down summer interest from Napoli and Porto in Spanish midfielder Ignacio Camacho.

The 24-year-old has been with Malaga since 2011, making just short of 100 league appearances for the former Champions League side.

According to Inside Spanish Football, Napoli offered £5m for the midfielder this summer, but Malaga were quick to turn down the interest.

Porto are also said to have made a bid, with their head coach Julen Lopetegui familiar with Camacho having coached him for Spain's Under-21 side.

However, Malaga rejected the interest after their valuation was not met.
