Miguel Torres signs new Malaga deal

Experienced defender Miguel Torres has signed a new long-term deal with Malaga.

The 29-year-old, who joined Malaga from Olympiacos last summer, will now be tied to the Spanish outfit until the summer of 2018.

Torres initially struggled for minutes at La Rosaleda, but has emerged into a key player for the La Liga club over the last couple of months.

The former Spanish Under-21 international started his professional career with Real Madrid, before moving on to Getafe and then Olympiacos.
