Carlos Kameni signs new Malaga contract

Goalkeeper Carlos Kameni has committed his future to Malaga by signing a new contract with the Spanish club.

The 30-year-old arrived at La Rosaleda in 2012, but he was initially behind Willy Caballero in the pecking order.

However, Caballero left for Manchester City earlier this summer, which promoted Kameni up to the number-one spot.

As a result, he has now agreed to fresh terms with Los Boquerones that will not expire until 2018.

Prior to joining Malaga, Kameni has also kept goal for Le Havre, Saint-Etienne and Espanyol.
