Sergi Darder "focused" on Malaga

Highly-rated midfielder Sergi Darder has insisted that he is happy to remain at Malaga.

The 19-year-old, who recently penned a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the Spanish outfit, has been one of the standout players in La Liga this season.

His impressive form has reportedly drawn the interest of both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, but the Spaniard has quelled talks of a move.

"I am only focused on my work in Malaga. The future? I am calm and my desire is to progress in world football," Darder told reporters at a press conference.

The midfielder's form has recently gained him a call-up to Spain's Under-21 squad.
