Deportivo La Coruna, Malaga play out La Riazor draw

Mala secure a 1-1 draw away to Deportivo La Coruna in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie at La Riazor.

Malaga secured a 1-1 draw away to Deportivo La Coruna in the first leg of the Copa del Rey this evening.

The visitors had the lead after 11 minutes when Ignacio Camacho netted with a close-range header from Luis Alberto's delivery.

Guillhermo Ochoa made a stop with his legs to deny Depor getting back into the game on 22 minutes, before the Mexico international thwarted Toche ahead of the break.

However, there was nothing the Los Tricolor star could do to deny Toche in the second period, and the home side were back in the game when he powerfully headed home.

The second leg of the tie will be played later this month.
