Diego Lugano is confident that Malaga have the quality to get past Borussia Dortmund and reach the Champions League semi-finals.

Malaga defender Diego Lugano has insisted that his side can get the better of Borussia Dortmund and progress to the Champions League semi-finals.

The Spanish side will go through if they can get a 1-1 draw in Germany on Tuesday, having been held to a goalless draw at home in the first leg last week.

"We're really going to enjoy this match," UEFA.com quotes the 32-year-old as saying.

"Every Malaga supporter deserves to see a top game of football. We're extremely positive and full of excitement and motivation that we could qualify for the semi-finals tomorrow.

"It'll be a very special match for us, as we're up against one of the best teams in Europe. We're determined to continue making history."

This is Malaga's debut season in the Champions League.
