Lyon head coach Hubert Fournier has revealed that he is targeting top spot in Ligue 1 before the Christmas break.
Fournier's side are currently third, five points behind leaders Marseille, but he is confident that his side can close the gap on their rivals after avoiding defeat in their previous eight games.
"We aspire to be [top before the break]," the Lyon boss told reporters. "But we do not believe the supposed easy matches will be like that.
"In November, we have a tough schedule with trips to Bastia, St Etienne. Then in December, we'll play every three days.
"But we do not lack any of the required will. We must continue this [run] together."
