Johnson faces 10-week injury layoff?

Glen Johnson could miss all of England's remaining World Cup qualifiers following reports that he has been sidelined for 10 weeks.

The Liverpool defender suffered ligament damage against Manchester United last weekend and could even miss the Three Lions' potential playoff clash, The Mirror claims.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is believed to have been forced to prevent youngster Andre Wisdom from going out on loan as he is needed as backup.

Championship sides Wigan Athletic, Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers have all been linked with loan moves for the England Under-21 star.

England have three Group H qualifiers remaining, with fixtures against the Ukraine, Montenegro and Poland still to come.
