Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly set to offer winger Adama Traore a new contract at Molineux, amid interest from Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly opened contract negotiations with winger Adama Traore, who has been linked with a move away from Molineux.

The 25-year-old's current contract is due to expire in 2023 and this season Traore has three goals and as many assists in 40 appearances for Wolves in all competitions.

Traore has attracted the interest of Liverpool, Manchester City and boyhood club Barcelona in recent times, but Wolves are in line to offer him a new contract to ward off any potential buyers.

Birmingham Live reports that the winger is in talks with his current club to extend his stay with Nuno Espirito Santo's side, especially after ending this campaign in good form, scoring twice and setting up two goals in three games at the start of April.

It is reported that Traore was contemplating an exit from the West Midlands after struggling to get into the side in September, but a recent upturn in fortunes for the Spanish international has convinced him to remain with Wolves.

Traore has scored 10 goals and provided 18 assists in 130 appearances for the club, since arriving at Molineux in 2018.
