West Ham United are lining up a January move to sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi, according to a report.

David Moyes is keen to bolster his attacking options in the winter window to provide more competition for talisman Michail Antonio, who has failed to score in each of his last eight league games.

According to journalist Pete O'Rourke, West Ham have identified Origi as one of their primary targets and are preparing to enter talks with Liverpool next month.

The Hammers believe that they can negotiate a cut-price fee for the Belgium international, who is out of contract next summer.

Despite operating as a peripheral figure in Jurgen Klopp's squad, Origi had provided some magical moments in key games for Liverpool, including a late strike in the 2018-19 Champions League final.

However, having played just 38 minutes in the Premier League this term, the forward is considering a move away from Anfield in search of regular first-team football.

Serie A duo AC Milan and Atalanta BC are also interested in Origi, who has scored five goals and provided two assists in 10 games across all competitions this season.
