Tom Brewitt signs first Liverpool deal

Young Liverpool defender Tom Brewitt has signed his first professional contract at Anfield.

The 18-year-old captains the club's development side and has played for England at youth level.

Brewitt was part of the side England Under-16s side that won the Victory Shield in 2012.

He is yet to make his Liverpool debut, but is thought to be highly rated by Reds manager Brendan Rodgers.
