Stuttgart sign former Liverpool youngster

Free agent Stephen Sama has signed a two-year contract with Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart.

The 21-year-old had been without a club since his release by Liverpool earlier this year.

However, he has now accepted an offer to continue his career back in his native Germany.

"We are pleased to have a young defender, so that we now have another alternative for the position of central defence," sporting director Rainer Adrion told the club's official website.

Sama has previously spent time with the Borussia Dortmund academy.
