Liverpool contact Inter Milan over Wesley Sneijder

Liverpool have reportedly made an enquiry over the availability of Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder.

The Dutch international has not played for the Nerazzurri for three months due to a dispute with the club which was reportedly over his refusal to take a paycut.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, the Reds are willing to pay €10m (£8.2m) to prise the 28-year-old away from the San Siro.

The rumour comes a few days after speculation broke that Tottenham Hotspur were also in for the playmaker.
