Robbie Savage: 'Jurgen Klopp won't attract world-class players to Liverpool'

Robbie Savage says that Jurgen Klopp will not be able to attract world-class players to Liverpool.

Robbie Savage has said that Jurgen Klopp will not be able to attract world-class players to Liverpool.

The German was confirmed as Liverpool boss on Thursday following the departure of Brendan Rodgers.

"Liverpool seem to sell their best players. I can't remember the last wow player Liverpool signed," Savage told BT Sport.

"Jurgen Klopp came across really good and Liverpool fans will be excited. There will be fun times ahead.

"I don't think they've got a team. Can they attract wow players? I don't think they can."

Klopp has reportedly targeted Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi as his first Liverpool signing.
