Report: Liverpool want Inaki Williams

A report claims that Liverpool want to sign Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams, who is believed to have a release clause in the region of £16m.

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams.

The 21-year-old joined Bilbao in 2012, progressing through the youth set-up with the Basque club before making his first-team debut in 2014.

This season, the striker has scored 10 times in 21 appearances for his Spanish club and according to The Guardian, Liverpool are considering a move before the end of the current transfer window.

The same report claims that Williams, who has netted six La Liga goals this season, has a release clause in the region of £16m, but Bilbao are keen for the youngster to pen a fresh contract at San Mames.
