Report: Liverpool scout Bobby Wood

Liverpool reportedly consider a summer move for Union Berlin striker Bobby Wood after scouting the United States international this season.

Union Berlin striker Bobby Wood has reportedly attracted the attention of Liverpool following his performances in the 2. Bundesliga this season.

The 23-year-old, who was born in Hawaii, came through the youth system at 1860 Munich before joining Union Berlin last summer.

The United States international has netted 14 league goals for his 2. Bundesliga club this season, and according to Berliner Kurier, Liverpool have sent scouts to watch the striker in recent weeks.

The same report claims that Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in Wood, who has found the back of the net on four occasions in 14 caps for the United States.
