Report: Juventus eye former Liverpool loanee Javier Manquillo

Juventus have reportedly monitored Javier Manquillo's performances in a Marseille shirt this season.

The Atletico Madrid defender struggled to establish himself during a loan stint at Liverpool last term, during which time he made just 10 Premier League appearances.

However, Manquillo has had better luck on a similar deal with Marseille, having already featured on 27 occasions for the French club.

According to La Provence, the 21-year-old's displays have captured the attention of Italian champions Juve, who may make a summer bid.

The report adds that Atletico head coach Diego Simeone is a big admirer of the full-back, but the club may be tempted to sell if they receive a big offer.
