Report: Neymar tells Paris Saint-Germain to sign Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho

Neymar reportedly tells Paris Saint-Germain to sign Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar has reportedly told his club to sign Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Coutinho was at the centre of a transfer saga over the summer, with Barcelona unsuccessfully attempting to pry the Brazilian international away from Anfield.

According to Sport, PSG are the latest side interested in acquiring the midfielder after Neymar instructed his club to bring in his international teammate.

Liverpool remain adamant that the 25-year-old is not for sale, but both Barcelona and PSG are now expected to make a move for Coutinho in January.

Coutinho has scored twice in three league appearances for the Reds this season and has been named on the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or.
