Man City offer Tevez a two-year extension?

Manchester City will reportedly offer Carlos Tevez a two-year extension on his current contract.

The Argentina striker has just 12 months to run on his existing deal, but City will offer the forward a contract that will take him up to 2016, according to The Telegraph.

It is believed that Manuel Pellegrini, who is expected to take over as City manager, is a big admirer of Tevez's talents and wants him to remain at the Etihad Stadium, despite rumoured interest in Napoli's Edinson Cavani.

Tevez has recently been linked with a summer switch to Liverpool.
