Liverpool are reportedly planning a big summer of spending with a focus on defensive reinforcements amid their injury crisis.
The faltering Reds managed to secure the signatures of Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies on transfer deadline day, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip all expected to miss the remainder of the season.
However, Liverpool's reluctance to spend big has led to criticism - namely from former manager Graeme Souness - and the Premier League champions are supposedly ready to splash the cash after failing to hit the same heights as last season.
According to German outlet Bild, Liverpool will dip into their war chest this summer and have identified two RB Leipzig centre-backs as potential signings.
Ibrahima Konate and Dayot Upamecano - the latter of whom has a £37m release clause which activates in the summer - are believed to be on Jurgen Klopp's wishlist, but 'dream signing' Upamecano is also garnering interest from Bayern Munich.
The Premier League champions are also being linked with a deal for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, although they would have to fend off interest from Real Madrid first.
