Liverpool have reportedly identified Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne as a potential summer target.
Insigne has spent his entire club career in Naples, with a total of 68 goals coming from 263 appearances in all competitions.
The 27-year-old still has just under four years remaining on his contract but according to Rai Sport, that has not stopped interest coming from Liverpool.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is blessed with options in the final third, but it appears that the German is ready to give the green light to another major addition ahead of next season.
However, Napoli are likely to be reluctant to part ways with their star man at a time when Carlo Ancelotti is attempting to challenge Juventus for the Serie A crown.
