Liverpool reportedly agree a fee with Fulham for teenager Fabio Carvalho, with the Reds now facing a race against time to get a deal over the line before 11pm.

Liverpool have reportedly reached an agreement with Fulham over a permanent move for Fabio Carvalho.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a prolific season with the promotion-chasing Cottagers this term, registering seven goals and four assists in 18 Championship appearances.

Liverpool were understood to have been pushing for a late swoop for Carvalho on deadline day, although a deal was left hanging in the balance over financial disagreements.

However, journalist Paul Joyce now claims that Liverpool and Fulham have agreed a fee for the playmaker, with the Reds now facing a race against time to get a deal done.

Joyce adds that Jurgen Klopp's side must still sort out personal terms and get Carvalho's medical completed before the 11pm deadline, and the teenager will be expected to remain on loan at Craven Cottage for the rest of the season.

Carvalho boasts a total of 17 goals and 13 assists from 43 appearances for Fulham in all competitions and already has one Premier League goal to his name from the 2020-21 campaign.
