Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt could remain at the club following the sacking of Kenny Dalglish.
The 31-year-old had planned to leave the club in the summer in search of regular football, but he has hinted that he could now remain at Anfield.
"I am under contract and a new coach will give you new opportunities," Kuyt told The Sun.
Liverpool finished the Premier League season in eighth position.
