Philippe Coutinho arrives at Liverpool's training ground

Inter Milan midfielder Philippe Coutinho has been at Liverpool's training ground at Melwood this afternoon ahead of his proposed move to the Merseysiders.

It is believed that the Reds have reached an agreement with Inter for the Brazilian, with the fee said to be around £8.5m.

A move now appears to be close to a conclusion, with video footage having shown the 20-year-old wearing Liverpool's training kit.

Reports have suggested that a deal will be announced later today, as long as Coutinho passes a medical without complications.
