Agent: 'Neto will sign for new team soon'

The agent of Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto hopes that he will be able to announce his client's next destination in the near future.

The highly-rated 25-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, has reportedly been subject to a £3m bid from Liverpool.

Stefano Castagna is confident that the Brazilian stopper will agree terms with a new club soon.

"We talked to Fiorentina, but Neto did not want to renew. From now, he is free to talk to other clubs," HITC Sport quotes Castagna as saying.

"We are pleased that newspapers speak of top clubs interested in him. Neto is doing well, but we have not yet reached an agreement with other teams. We are still far from knowing where he will go but we hope that he will sign for a new club soon."

Neto moved to Italy from Atletico Paranaense in 2011.
