To celebrate Fernando Torres's 35th birthday, Sports Mole counts down the top 10 greatest Liverpool strikers of the Premier League era.

Fernando Torres celebrates his 35th birthday today, and while the former Spain international continues to ply his trade in Japan, the fondest memories of him on English soil remain his devastating spell with Liverpool.

Regarded as one of the deadliest strikers in world football during his time at Anfield, Torres earned his place in the pantheon of great Liverpool strikers from the Premier League era and beyond.

There is plenty of competition to be crowned the greatest, though, including from the current crop with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino helping to propel the Reds towards a title challenge.

Throw the likes of Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and Luis Suarez into the mix, and selecting a top 10 becomes a difficult task - even ignoring the plethora of legends from Liverpool's pre-Premier League heyday.

Here, Sports Mole counts down the 10 best strikers Liverpool have had since the Premier League began in 1992.
