Andre Wisdom still learning from Jamie Carragher

Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom has said that studying Jamie Carragher has improved him as a player.

Carragher has played 727 times for the Reds, and Wisdom, who broke into the first team at Anfield this season, has revealed that he is constantly learning from the defender.

"I remember Carragher taking some of our [Under-16] sessions as part of his coaching qualifications," Wisdom told LFC Magazine.

"To now be playing with him is great. I learned a lot from him back then and I'm still learning a lot from him now. He's still coaching me in training.

"In fact, I think he coaches everyone. He passes on so much information that he's almost doing the job of a coach already."

Carragher recently announced his decision to retire at the end of the season.
