Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has admitted that he is "pushing" as hard as he can to recover from the hamstring injury he suffered in the 3-2 win against Manchester City on Monday night.
Sturridge said that he was very frustrated to have picked up the blow but was working to ensure that he did not miss too many games, with the club yet to confirm the extent of the injury.
Pushing myself to get back ASAP! Fuming I'm injured but it's life. Everything for a reason. God has his plan. #redordead
