Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: 'Philippe Coutinho will return against Arsenal'

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers confirms that Philippe Coutinho is fit to play in this weekend's Premier League encounter against Arsenal.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Philippe Coutinho is fit to feature in this weekend's Premier League clash against Arsenal.

The Brazilian, who required shoulder surgery, has been out of action since the Reds' 2-2 draw with Swansea City on September 16.

However, Rodgers has revealed in today's press conference that Coutinho has been given the 'all clear' to be named in the travelling squad to the Emirates.

Liverpool head into the fixture two points adrift of leaders Arsenal in the table.
