Gerardo Martino: 'Cristian Tello will be on bench tomorrow'

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino says that Cristian Tello will be in the squad for tomorrow's La Liga clash against Elche.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino has confirmed that Cristian Tello is in his thinking for tomorrow's La Liga clash against Elche.

It has been widely suggested that Tello has a strained relationship with his manager due to his lack of first-team football this season.

Martino refused to speak about the possible relationship breakdown to the media, but has revealed that the Spaniard will be in the squad for the fixture against Elche.

"What has to be said is happens in the dressing room; I don't spend my time fighting with the players. I'll continue to rely on him and for sure he'll be on the bench tomorrow," Martino told reporters at a press conference.

Liverpool have been strongly linked with a move for the winger.
