Emre Can has admitted that he is happy with his personal contribution for Liverpool so far this season, but is hoping to add more goals to his game over time.
The 23-year-old, who is a rumoured end-of-season target for Italian giants Juventus, has so far netted two goals in eight games for the Reds this term.
Both those strikes came in the Champions League playoff win over Hoffenheim a month ago and Can, currently struggling with a minor knock, hopes to get into more advanced positions to further add to his tally.
"I think I have done well but I can do better," the Liverpool Echo quotes him as saying. "I have scored two goals. I have the feeling I could score more goals, have more assists and defend better.
"But I feel good, I feel in shape and I hope I can help the team. I always try to help the team, that's the most important thing. I try to be in the box more because the manager expects it from the midfielders. When somebody crosses or plays the ball into the box, I try to be there."
Can also has a couple of assists to his name in 2017-18, coming in the Premier League games against Watford and Burnley.
