Jurgen Klopp happy with "perfect" Liverpool after hard-fought Swansea City win

Jurgen Klopp hails Liverpool's "perfect" attitude in grinding out a hard-fought 1-0 win over Swansea at Anfield.

Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Liverpool were not at their best in Sunday's 1-0 win over Swansea City, but hailed his side's "perfect" attitude to grind out the result.

James Milner converted a 61st-minute penalty as the insipid Reds were made to work hard by the Swans, who did not manage a single shot on target.

It was their third victory in eight days after following up last Saturday's 4-1 rout at Manchester City with a 2-1 triumph over Bordeaux in Thursday's Europa League win on Merseyside.

"It was difficult and we had to change in the second half a little bit what we had planned," he told Sky Sports News. "It was difficult, with the wind, the opponent, but the result was perfect.

"We did well, we can do better, but if you want results in a row you have to fight for them. I don't know many teams who win 3-0, or 4-0 every week so we have to fight for it. Perfect."

Klopp's side sit six points behind Premier League leaders Manchester City and four behind fourth-placed Arsenal.
