Former Liverpool manager Roy Evans urges the club's supporters to get behind current boss Kenny Dalglish.

Former Liverpool manager Roy Evans has urged the club's supporters to get behind Kenny Dalglish.

The Reds have recently struggled for form under Dalglish's guidance, picking up just eight points since the turn of the year.

However, Evans believes that everybody should reunite in an attempt to help the club win the FA Cup.

"It is always a difficult time when you go through periods like this as a manager," said Evans. "Especially as, being manager of a club like Liverpool, you know what it means to the fans.

"They have every right to be critical. That is part of being a fan. But at the end of the day, Liverpool still have a chance of winning the FA Cup, to go alongside the Carling Cup."

Liverpool are currently eighth in the Premier League table.
