Burnley boss Sean Dyche: 'We made Liverpool look uncomfortable'

Burnley manager Sean Dyche says that his team made Liverpool look "uncomfortable" during today's 2-0 triumph at Turf Moor in the Premier League.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has praised his team for making Liverpool "uncomfortable" in this afternoon's 2-0 victory at Turf Moor.

The Clarets claimed their first ever Premier League win over the Reds, with Sam Vokes and Andre Gray ending a goal drought of four games against the Merseyside outfit.

Jurgen Klopp's side had the majority of possession and created 26 shots compared to Burnley's three, but the newly-promoted side comfortably saw out the win.

"I thought we made Liverpool look uncomfortable," Dyche told BBC's Match of the Day. "We think we can be a threat to teams.

"We have never been bogged down with all the stats about possession. There is something marvellous when you see someone give everything to the cause - that's what I thought we did."

The result marks Burnley's first win of the season following their 1-0 defeat to Swansea City on the opening weekend.
