Kenny Dalglish hails "fantastic" Steven Gerrard

Kenny Dalglish has hailed "fantastic" Steven Gerrard after the Liverpool captain led the Reds to a 3-0 win over Everton.

Gerrard netted all three goals and left the pitch with the match ball.

"Steven Gerrard has been fantastic for this football club. There's no way I can do him justice," Dalglish said.

"I haven't got enough words in my vocabulary. But he'll get the headlines and three goals is a fantastic reward for him.

"He's had a few bumps this year. It will put a smile on his face."

Liverpool are seventh in the Premier League with 42 points from 28 games.
