Mario Balotelli "glad" to be at Liverpool

Mario Balotelli has said that he is happy at Liverpool, despite his poor form since joining the club.

The 24-year-old has failed to score in the Premier League following his summer move from AC Milan and has been criticised for his displays.

"I'm glad to be here [at Liverpool]," Balotelli told beIN Sports. "I know that it's crucial for a striker to score goals, but fortunately the fans continue to love me: the Liverpool supporters are fantastic.

"I'm very grateful to them for their support in what has been a difficult period for me. When I return to scoring it will be mainly thanks to them for continuing to believe in me."

Balotelli has scored just twice for the Reds in his 12 appearances.
