Liverpool have been given an injury scare after Adam Lallana limped off in the first period of England's international friendly with Spain on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old had sent England ahead in the ninth minute of the clash at Wembley, but had to be replaced in the 27th minute following a late challenge from Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The attacking midfielder has been in impressive form for Liverpool this season, scoring three times in the Premier League to help Jurgen Klopp's side to the top of the table after 11 matches.
The injury, which is still unspecified, could see Lallana miss Liverpool's league game with Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
