Daniel Sturridge has admitted that he "enjoyed" making his Liverpool debut in Sunday's FA Cup win at Mansfield Town.
The striker, who completed a £12m move from Chelsea on Wednesday, opened the scoring at Field Mill as the Reds earned a 2-1 victory in the third round.
"I enjoyed it very much," Sturridge told ESPN. "It was my first game for the team, and it was great to get to know my teammates on the field and to win the game.
"I am disappointed [not to score more goals] but the team played fantastically and showed a lot of character, and I'm delighted with the win."
Liverpool's reward for beating Mansfield is a visit to Oldham Athletic in the fourth round.
