Leyton Orient captain Nathan Clarke has expressed his belief that the club can make it nine wins out of nine when they face Walsall on Saturday.
The League One leaders have made their best ever start to a season and are closing in on the club's record of 10 straight wins, which was set 57 years ago.
Defender Clarke has said that the players are ready to continue their 100% start.
"At the moment the games are coming thick and fast which is brilliant for us," Clarke told Sky Sports News.
"Training is really high intensity. It's a good bunch of lads - a close-knit group. It's enjoyable every day. The confidence has gone from day one of pre-season. The confidence of the lads has been fantastic.
"Walsall is a massive game for us - because it is the next game. If we can break another record then so be it. We'll be looking at their strengths and weaknesses again. They'll have done their homework and known the form that we're in. They'll have to be wary of certain players."
Russell Slade's side secured their eighth successive win against Brentford on Monday evening.
