Curbishley: Leicester have somebody lined up

Former Charlton and West Ham manager Alan Curbishley believes the Leicester board have already lined up a replacement for Sven-Goran Eriksson after the Swede was sacked earlier today.

"When football clubs make that sort of decision I think they are already in talks with somebody or they know where they want to go," said the 53-year-old.

However Curbishley, who has been out of work for three years, refused to rule himself out of contention for the vacant Foxes post.

"We will have to see. It is a big club, should be in the Premier League, great support. We will have to see what goes on there."

Ex-Leicester boss Martin O'Neill has been installed by bookmakers as the early favourite to take-over from Eriksson, who left Leicester 13th in the Championship table.
