Team News: Leicester make eight changes, Butland starts for Barnsley

Leicester City make eight changes, while Jack Butland makes his Barnsley debut.

Leicester City have made eight changes from their 2-1 defeat of Derby County in the League Cup third round for today's Championship clash with Barnsley.

Danny Drinkwater, who scored the Foxes' winner on Tuesday, keeps his place in the starting lineup, while Anthony Knockaert, who also scored in midweek, returns in midfield.

The visitors were thumped 5-1 by Watford at home last week, which has prompted David Flitcroft to make five changes for today's game, with Reuben Noble-Lazarus one of those reinstated to the team.

Jack Butland starts for the first time since his loan move from Stoke City, while David Fox also makes his first appearance for the Tykes since arriving from Norwich City on a short-team deal.

Peter Ramage was originally named in the starting lineup, but picked up an injury in the warm-up, so Tom Kennedy has taken his place in defence.
