Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson focusing on forthcoming games

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson insists that his attention is on the club's final six games of the season, as he looks to guide them to Premier League survival.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has said that while he was pleased with his side's victory over Swansea City, he is focusing on the games to come as the Foxes look to stay in the Premier League.

The East Midlands outfit secured their third win on the bounce by beating the Swans on Saturday to continue their bid for survival.

Pearson says that his attention has now turned to the club's final six games of the campaign, starting with the trip to relegation rivals Burnley this Saturday.

"That's three on the trot, which is a massive thing to do at this level," he told Leicester's official website. "So it's now a case of writing that one off and there are six games left, four at home, and the mini-season starts next week.

"The two away games we've got left are going to be very important, because they are both against sides that we can directly influence in the relegation battle. So that's where we're at really. Enjoy the moment, but we move on."

Leicester are level on points with 17th-placed Hull City and sit in the relegation zone on goal difference alone.
