Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson concerned about lack of goals

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson is concerned about their lack of goals after the Foxes failed to find the net in a fourth consecutive Premier League defeat.

Nigel Pearson has admitted that he is worried about Leicester City's struggles in front of goal after they fell to a 2-0 defeat at Southampton on Saturday.

The Foxes have now gone four games without finding the net and are in the Premier League relegation zone following a run of just one point from six matches.

Pearson is determined that Leicester will get things right, and has again called on his players to be more ruthless at either end of the pitch.

"The top and bottom of it is we couldn't score," he told reporters. "We're experiencing a tough run at the moment and we can't find a way to win.

"Clearly we have ability but the Premier League is about being ruthless in both boxes. It is a learning curve for us but we are not here to make up the numbers."

Leonardo Ulloa, who is the scorer of Leicester's only away goal this season, has not struck in six outings.
