Sven-Goran Eriksson has hailed his side's performance during their 1-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the King Power Stadium earlier today.
A goal from Yuki Abe just after the restart was enough for the Foxes to claim all three points and the manager was "delighted" with the result against the side that started the day as league leaders.
"I'm very happy with the performance and result. I thought we performed very well for 90 minutes, finally," said Eriksson.
"That was the real Leicester City which we had not seen perform previously over a full 90 minutes. The closest we had seen it was for 60 minutes against Forest when we led 2-0 but allowed them to draw.
"Today we played the number one team in Brighton and we were the better team today. We stood up to a good technical team who were well organised and quick to attack."
Leicester have moved up to ninth in the Championship table.
