Nigel Pearson claims that Leicester must build on their result at Carrow Road.

Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson has said that his side must look to build on their positive result against Paul Lambert's Canaries.

Foxes centre-back Sean St Ledger and striker David Nugent were able to find the back of the net on either side of Wes Hoolahan's first-half strike, which allowed Leicester to escape Carrow Road with a win.

"I'm pleased with the result and the performance," he said. "I thought we did well and mixed it up.

"We're putting our fans through the mill this season, but we can build on this sort of performance and this sort of result.

"It was a combination of a number of things that counted. I was pleased with how we started the game. We created chances and when we defended we did it with spirit."

Leicester City travel to Pride Park on Thursday evening to take on Derby County.
