Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn: 'We made it too easy for Watford'

Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn believes that his side made it too easy for Watford to come back at them to record a 3-2 victory at Elland Road.

Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn feels that his side allowed Watford back into the match too easily as the Hornets came from behind to claim a 3-2 victory at Elland Road.

Redfearn's men took the lead through Billy Sharp and Rodolph Austin doubled their advantage in the 19th minute.

However, Troy Deeney scored before the break to get Slavisa Jokanovic's side back into the match and Matej Vydra added a second-half brace to fire the visitors to the three points.

"They're a good side but you can't give good sides opportunities," Redfearn told Sky Sports News.

"If it goes 3-1 the game is different. We didn't play badly, but if you have a boxer on the ropes then you have to finish them off. We started well, pressed, put them under pressure, got our goals.

"Then, for some reason, we took a step back. They gave us the runaround a little bit and the goals, from our point of view, were too easy."

Leeds are 16th in the Championship table, 10 points clear of the drop zone.
