Werder Bremen capture Eljero Elia

Werder Bremen have reportedly struck a deal with Juventus for Dutch winger Eljero Elia.

The 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact in Serie A since moving from Hamburg for around £7.1m last summer, making just four appearances for the Bianconeri.

It is believed that Elia will pen a four-year contract with the Bundesliga outfit before being officially announced later today.

The Dutch international, who 26 caps to his name, enjoyed a two-year spell at Bremen's local rivals Hamburg before his move to Italy.
