How Juventus could line up against Bologna

How Juventus could line up against Bologna

Juventus will be back on the field for the first time since February 26 when they travel to Bologna on Sunday.

The coronavirus outbreak has seen the Italian club's last two matches postponed, and they have not actually been in Serie A action since February 22, when they recorded a 2-1 win over SPAL.

The Old Lady have dropped to second spot in the table behind Lazio, although they are only two points off the new leaders and have a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Maurizio Sarri's side could line up when they take to the field for the behind-closed-doors contest on Sunday evening.

Out: Merih Demiral (knee)

Juve's squad is in good shape at the moment with only Merih Demiral a confirmed absentee.

Adrien Rabiot looked set to miss out against Inter Milan last weekend with a heel injury, but the Frenchman appears to have recovered from the problem in time for the clash with Bologna.

Giorgio Chiellini, Sami Khedira, Federico Bernardeschi and Douglas Costa have all also overcome recent problems, but Sarri is unlikely to take any unnecessary risks this weekend.

Aaron Ramsey is pushing for a spot as part of a midfield three, while Gonzalo Higuain could also return to the team, potentially as part of a front three alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.

Juan Cuadrado played further forward against Lyon in the Champions League last time out, but the Colombian could drop into the right-back position for this match with Danilo potentially losing his spot.
